Dimitar Nikolov was born in 1967. Prior to his election as Mayor of Burgas, he was Manager of KBS OOD and Executive Director of Pobeda AD between 1998 and 2006.
He has university degree in Economy from the Moscow Economic University, a diploma and professional certificate in Management from the Open University and the New Bulgarian University. He also has a Masters degree in Finance Management from the Academy of Economics in Svishtov.
Dimitar Nikolov is also an active public figure: Deputy Chairman of the Bulgarian Commercial Chamber– Burgas, Chairman of Business Consultative Committee – Burgas, Chairman of the Economic and Investment Committee at the Municipal Council of Burgas and a regional representative of CEIBG for Burgas district.
