When will happen the new economic growth?
The economic growth in Bulgaria is yet to come in 2011 - according to the latest economic data for the growth of the GDP, the stronger export and the positive trade balance.
In Q3/2010 GDP is BGN 19.403bn by current prices, or EUR 1,319.8 per person. The growth is 0.7% per Q2 and 0.5% per Q3/2009.
In Q1/2010 the GDP decline slowed on annual basis - from 3.6% to 5.9% for Q4/2009.
The major European economies already register growth based on the previous quarter as well as on annual basis.
According to experts only after three or four quarters of consecutive growth like in Belgium, Czech Republic, Germany, France, Malta, Switzerland, is expected an annual growth.
This is the basis of the expectations that if the Bulgarian economy slows its decline on a quarterly basis and achieves a growth for Q3 and Q4 we can see an annual growth for the last months of 2010 or the first quarter of 2011, according to the analysis of the Centre for Economic Development.
