Design is in the beginning and the foundation of everything.

To successfully absorb the EUR 5bn for infrastructure in the next EU programme period 2014 - 2020 we should have be prepared with projects for EUR 7bn.

Design requires 2% of the value of the projects, i.e. EUR 100-140bn agreed the participants in the Third National Roads conference held from 22 to 24 Sept. in the University of Architecture, Construction and Geodesy.

The second imperative is the design criteria - the low price and the deadlines should not be among them, are adament the design engineers.

The desgin programme prepared by the investor should be very carefully prepared as this is the foundation of the future project design, and this is rule 3.
